Miss Nelson Is Missing!

This book was written by Harry Allard and James Marshall.  Miss Nelson is Missing was written for students around first grade age.  It is about a teacher who is taken advantage of by her class.  She decides that she will teach them a lesson and be sick for a day.  She dresses up as a mean awful sub and they all are well behaved for the sub because they are scared.
