If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

This book was written by Laura Numeroff.  In the book, a mouse asks a boy for a cookie.  When he gets the cookie, he wants milk.  When he gets milk, he wants a straw.  The list goes on and on.  While this book is just a silly little joke, it is meant to warn parents about spoiling their children. If you give children everything they want exactly when they want it, they will ask for more and more.  This book is for students around 2nd grade level.
