Corduroy

This book was written by Don Freeman.  This book is about a little stuffed bear on a shelf.  His button is missing, so a little girl's mother will not buy him for her.  In the middle of the night, the bear searches through the store to find a button to put on.  The next morning, the little girl comes back with money from her piggy bank and buys the bear.  She sews a button on so he will be more comfortable, even though she says she loves him just the way he is.  This book is for 1st-3rd grades.
